Hot Bite Action and Prime Sight Fishing in Tampa's Backcountry!
Hot bite and happy crew! We started our September morning at 7:00 am cruisin' the flats around Tampa with partly cloudy skies overhead. The weather stayed interesting throughout the day with some rain rolling through, but that didn't slow us down in gator country. Our group was ready to get after it on the shallow water, and we had a solid day planned for the backcountry fishing. We guided the crew through some prime flats fishing as part of our Rate Card new Fees package.
With our gear rigged and ready, we focused on sight fishing, poling, and shallow water anchoring techniques. The approach worked well for the conditions we had, and we made the most of our time on the water.
