Tampa Flats Sight Fishing Adventure - Clear Water Action!

What a great day out, couldn't ask for more action! Jon and I headed out late afternoon this fall with clear conditions throughout the day. The flats around Tampa were calling our names, and we couldn't have asked for better weather to get out there and work the shallows.

With our gear rigged and ready, we focused on sight fishing and fly fishing techniques across the flats. Tampa's shallow waters are perfect for light tackle fishing, giving us plenty of opportunities to work different spots throughout the area. The clear conditions made it easy to cruise the flats and spot what we were looking for. We didn't stick a trophy on this run, but every cast and minute on the water was worth it - y'all know how it is when you're out in gator country with lines in the water!
